We have lube for sensitive skin, DIY sex lube ingredients & ingredients to AVOID.

You have to be just as TIRED as I am of sex lubes that get sticky, dry up too fast, smell awful, might be harmful and then some. Most of all, I’m tired of sex being ruined by skin irritation. Most lubes are incompatible with my goods. But I have proven solutions that doesn’t react poorly to our genitals…. because I tried A LOT.

Why use lube for sensitive skin? Because our private parts (including anus) are sensitive. All products involving our genitals SHOULD BE made for sensitive skin. It makes no sense to me that many lubes out in the market are actually harmful. It’s like they don’t care about people’s insides.

So Read the ingredients! If you’re not choosing a lube from this list, at least be aware of some of the harmful ingredients in most lubes. These are some ingredients you should avoid:

  • Benzcaine
  • Propylene glycol
  • Petroleum oils
  •  Sugars (yes some lubes have sugar)
  •  Glycerine
  • Ureas
  • Nonoxynol 9 Polyquaternium-15,
  • Parabens
  • Chlorhexidine gluconate

Stay away from anything flavored and anything scented.

I also added a DIY recipe to make your very own lube below. I provided this recipe because sometimes the best way to ensure you have clean ingredients is to make things yourself.

-These lubes are condom safe. Most condoms already have lube on it so to be safe but a little extra will not hurt. I would not suggest anything oil based if you are using condoms. Oil causes condoms to tear.

-If you’re raw dogging it or just going solo, natural oils such as coconut oil works amazing. Do not use with condoms.

Quick condom tip: Put the lube INSIDE the condom as well as outside the condom. Makes sex feel 100x better. For other ways to make condom sex better, check out Condom Sex post.

Favorite Sex Lubes

These two lubes are great for all sorts of play.

Just discovered Coconu Lube and …. just wow. We only tried the water based one but they do offer an oil based and a hemp based lube. It’s a great lube for sensitive skin. This paraben free lube mimics natural body lubrication, it’s silky and lasts for a long time.

What’s interesting about this lube is how soft it made my skin beyond my intimate areas feel soft. I almost like it as a lotion as well but I’d feel like a weirdo for moisturizing my whole body with a sex lube. Find out for yourself and check out Coconu.

Wet Organics Is an old time favorite of mine. This is the first brand of paraben free lube I discovered many years ago on my own that was very compatible with me. Can be used for any type of sexual activity. Doesn’t smell, doesn’t get sticky and is water based. Find Wet Organics online to purchase! Best price. We love it because it has a gel- like texture. The glide is mind blowing.

Sliquid products are very popular for a reason. They have many versions of lube but I had experience with the H2O version which is original version. The original one is odorless and tasteless and mimics the wetness the body naturally produces. Get Sliquid if you like a thicker consistency. I would compare sex with Sliquid with ice skating. It’s as smooth as the blades gliding on ice.

Lube For Vaginal Health

This lube is picked for people with VERY sensitive vaginas. Even though I believe all of our sex parts- male and female- should be treated sensitive, Good Clean Love specializes in vaginal health.

Good Clean Love is water based and paraben free lube that has organic ingredients… Stays way longer than most water based lubes. Go to the Good Clean Love website to check this lube out and many other female friendly products. This company offers all sort of relief for vagina owners including daily moisturizers and cleaners.

I am a huge fan of this brand for many reasons besides sex. This brand is recommended by doctors because of their commitment to vaginal health.

Favorite Anal Sex Lube

Your anus is sensitive too. For anal, paraben free lube and glycerin free lube is needed.

The problem with some anal lubes is that some of them have numbing agents. Numbing creams for anal is actually dangerous. Pain (the bad kind, not the good kind of pain) is an indicator that something is wrong. Numbing your anus where you won’t feel what your body is telling you can be dangerous. You can end up seriously hurt.

Intimate Earth Anal Silicone Lubricant has muscle relaxing properties from an extract from a chamomile plant but does not numb. This stuff is incredible because it’s slightly thick and does not run at all. It’s very smooth.
